about this site
The original design for this site is based on a design from OSWD (Open Source Web Design), a site that features a collection of web designs submitted by the community at large. All designs on that site are available for use, free of charge. This design is called "A Bit Modern" and was originally designed by Boris Cherny with modifications iinspired by Petros Dolaschjan. I adapted the design for my own purposes (because I am a very fussy client) and J.B. Price (my personal web guru) made further modifications and converted it to PHP. This design was created with standards-compliant XHTML and CSS. It was tested in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera and it was edited using Photoshop and Dreamweaver and whatever JB uses when he works his magic on code.
All content was written by me. All the photos on this site (except the "girl with the camera" and the few snapshots) are my original work. If you are interested in purchasing any photos, please contact me. The photo of the girl with the camera (on the photography page) was purchased from istockphoto.com, a photographer's cooperative that manages photo rights for individual photographers and offers them to the public at low cost. The avatar was created by an online avatar creation tool that I've since lost track of.

"This license is the most restrictive of the six main licenses, allowing redistribution. This license is often called the 'free advertising' license because it allows others to download your works and share them with others as long as they mention you and link back to you, but they can't change them in any way or use them commercially."
